■ From the Manufacturer's Information

The Sudanese civil war, which lasted for nearly 20 years from 1983.
This album was created with the hope for complete peace.
The highlight is the young rapper Emmanuel Jal, who actually fought with a gun as a child soldier in South Sudan during the civil war. He later moved to Kenya and became a successful rapper.
He collaborated with Abdel Gadir Salim, a veteran representing the traditional music of North Sudan, with whom he was once in conflict.

Working together, they are creating a new era of Sudanese music.
Cutting-edge African hip-hop coexists with simple yet powerful Arabic folk music. The future of Sudanese music is visible.
