Southwestern-inspired 9” vase leather lacing, natural fur display mat
American Southwest beautiful handcrafted pottery vase, hand-signed by Ruth Hammond of Antlers, Oklahoma. Standing approximately 9 inches tall with a circumference of about 21 inches at its widest point, this one-of-a-kind studio pottery piece showcases a soft pink speckled finish accented with hand-painted Southwestern-inspired artwork. The front features a Native American-inspired woman, a pueblo-style adobe building, and a dimensional cactus planter, while one side is embellished with a decorative silver-tone thunderbird ornament secured with traditional leather lacing and colorful beads. The fur beautifully complements the rustic Southwestern aesthetic and enhances the overall presentation. The leather side of the hide shows age-related drying and wear consistent with vintage natural hides, but it remains an attractive and authentic display accessory.
