About the Buffet Crampon E12 Plus:
This is the advanced model of Buffet Crampon's college series.
It is the successor to the Yvette Schaeffer, which incorporated the bore of the renowned BC20, a model that was Buffet's mainstay until the legendary R13 was introduced.
Later, the college models became the C, E, and B series, forming the current lineup.
Maintenance Performed:
1. Body tone hole cleaning and oiling.
2. All pads replaced.
3. Key straightening and polishing.
4. All spring corks inspected and some replaced.
5. Ring height adjustment.
6. Pad leak adjustment.
7. F1 (upper and lower joint connection) adjustment.
8. Lower joint CB connection adjustment.
9. Overall balance adjustment and fine-tuning.
10. Tested across all registers.
Although the instrument is in near-new condition, there were mechanical issues due to age.
The adjustments are now perfect, and the instrument's wonderful tone has been restored.
I am a clarinetist with 57 years of professional experience, not a repairman.
I received formal training in repairs from a Buffet Crampon technician in my youth.
I am often asked by fellow professional musicians to adjust their instruments.
After retiring from orchestral playing, I performed in New York and Berlin!
I have released three CDs and held numerous solo concerts, and have participated in countless recordings and broadcasts.
This is the final stretch of my clarinet career!
I hope this instrument will be of service to fellow enthusiasts.
Buffet Crampon E12 Plus:
While a college model, it inherits the history and tradition of Buffet Crampon, and its authentic French sound has been revived.
It is in excellent condition.
I confidently recommend it.
Thank you for looking.
