I use with glass or plastic decorative pebbles (find at Dollar Tree) and a battery-operated tea light and artificial flowers. The tea light really makes the cardinals pop at night. My neighbor is in a nursing home and all the nurses appreciate the fact that you don't really need water. Glass pebbles at the bottom, a battery-operated tea light and some artificial flowers brightens her room. She says she gets so many compliments Care: Rinse with water and dish soap. Leave open to dry, store flat. Save the box for storing after vase is completely dry inside IMPORTANT - Please Note: The base of the vase needs to be fully opened to stand and be stable.
