Rovner VERSA Bass Clarinet Ligature V-3RL
The VERSA is one of the most popular ligatures from Rovner.
This model was renamed from the previous Eddie Daniels model.
It features a metal plate on the surface that contacts the reed. By removing the plate or moving the leather behind the plate forward to make contact with the reed, you can enjoy four different tonal qualities.
The author used this ligature with the blue screws from the current Eddie Daniels Expressions ligature.
It is characterized by a soft, mellow sound and moderate resistance.
It is easy to play staccato and articulate with the tongue, making this ligature especially recommended for those who play concert band or classical music.
