Purchased new in February 2020.
The screen should be free of scratches as a glass screen protector was applied. The protective film has been removed for photography and scratch inspection.
Included in the sale are the main unit, a carabiner holder, the genuine USB cable, and the instruction manual.
Please provide your own AA batteries.
The menu is displayed in English, but place names on the map are displayed in Japanese.
Used only for backcountry skiing during winter. During the snow-free season, I used smartphone apps.
In extremely cold mountain conditions where I couldn't remove my gloves, this Garmin model with physical buttons was indispensable. Smartphones freeze in the cold and become unusable.
It could operate for about 18 hours using rechargeable eneloop batteries.
There are many instruction manuals available online, so please choose one that is easy to read and follow for operation. The included manual is in a foreign language only and is difficult to understand.
