This is a remade item from a new cotton hanten (traditional Japanese jacket).
The material is a firm, thick cotton.
The longer length is perfect for pairing with leggings.
The large front pockets and the inner collar lining are made from indigo-dyed fabric.
The lettering on the back is done with sashiko stitching.
Wooden buttons have been used.
The top button looks stylish whether fastened or left open.
This is a handmade item created by an amateur with limited skills.
