Up for sale is a rare matched pair of Vintage 1980 J. Shin Co. Ice Cream Dolls, including both the boy and girl with their original mini ice cream cone necklaces still intact—a feature often missing. Boy Doll: Original brown and white checkered overalls, brown velvet vest, matching brown velvet cap. Measures approximately 11 tall. Sleep eyes occasionally stick open or closed due to age but move easily by hand. Girl Doll: Original brown velvet dress with white lace trim, red ribbon bow, and solid red feet. Sleep eyes work smoothly. Both dolls retain their original cloth tush tags: ©1980 J. Shin Co., Inc., DBA Village Toys, Elk Grove Village, IL. Condition: Clean hard plastic faces with bright painted features. Yarn hair is fully intact on both dolls. The boy's white sleeves and collar have red color transfer from the vest trim. Both cloth bodies show light age-related spotting (boy's back, girl's lower belly). Both ice cream cone necklaces are intact; the boy's cone has a small squish/blemish on one side.
