(Product Origin)
Both consoles were purchased new the day after their release date (April 23, 1993) after going out to buy them (date is written on the console warranty cards).
However, they were kept as backup units until the tray of the MEGA-CD1 developed a malfunction at the end of 1994.
After that, they were used for a year and a half until I transferred jobs in June 1996. When I moved, I stored them in the plastic cases shown in photo 20 and kept them in the closet at my parents' house.
After 30 years, I opened them for this listing and confirmed they powered on (after taking photos, they were sealed back in the plastic cases and put back in the closet).
The software was played and collected between 1991 and the time they were sealed away.

Thank you for looking.
