Antique Hakoseko Hairpin "Flower and Butterfly Motif" Taisho Era, Azuki Chain Anonymous Shipping
This is a beautiful hiragana簪 (hair ornament) from around the Taisho era.
The round base features delicate彫金 (chōkin - metal engraving) of peonies and dancing butterflies, giving it a gorgeous and elegant impression.
The chain is a rounded azuki (red bean) chain, with 7 chains dangling at the end, each adorned with a peony motif, swaying beautifully with every movement.
It is not magnetic and is believed to be made of brass or a copper alloy.
The base is about the size of a 10-yen coin, giving it a presence without being too heavy or difficult to handle.
Recommended for display, kimono coordination, or as a prop for photography.
