This is a handmade Hanten (traditional Japanese half-coat) made with 100% natural cotton for both the outer and lining, which is gentle on the skin.
The filling is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. Polyester is intentionally blended to achieve a fluffy feel. It's truly like wearing a futon.

This is a one-size-fits-all item, suitable for both men and women. Hanten look great whether worn fitted or loose.

A Hanten cannot be called a Kurume Handmade Hanten unless it contains at least 50% filling. This Hanten is a genuine Kurume Handmade Hanten.
This product is 100% made in Japan, with everything from the fabric to the sewing produced domestically.
