[Unused/Beautiful Item] Obijime (Sash Cord) - Kimono Biyori - Pure Silk Decorative Cord - Pearl - Lace Flower - Obi-dome Fine Cord
New and unused, but has been stored for a long time.
It has a sticker tag, but the protective plastic on the edges is missing.
Material is 100% pure silk. Size M.
Thickness is approximately 0.5cm.
Length is approximately 155cm including the tassels.
Please excuse any measurement errors.
The color is a gentle pink. A thin, light, flat-woven cord. The floral embroidery motif is attached to the cord, so it will not shift when worn. It is very light.
While decorative cords for yukata tend to be made of polyester and can be flimsy, this one is made of pure silk, so even though it's thin, it has enough strength, firmness, and luster to hold the obi in place to some extent. It is also recommended for tsuke obi (pre-tied obi) as attaching the obijime over the metal fittings will make the ribbon part less likely to come undone. It can also be used as an accent for casual kimonos or for Furisode (long-sleeved kimono) for Coming-of-Age ceremonies.
No particularly noticeable flaws were found.
*I am undecided about keeping this item for myself, so it may be removed if I find an opportunity to wear it.
