H. KENNEDY / BARROWFIELD / GLASGOW
1800s Two Tone Stamp #12 Kennedy Barrowfield Stoneware Ginger Beer Bottle CORK
This exceptional, investment-grade Victorian stoneware ginger beer bottle (circa 1870–1895) features a crisp, deeply impressed H. KENNEDY / BARROWFIELD / GLASGOW maker's mark and a stunning two-tone dipped glaze with the authentic antique cork still firmly wedged inside the neck. In Excellent Used Condition (EUC), the 8.25-inch, 10-ounce bottle has no cracks, major chips, or repairs, showing only honest shelf wear and minor kiln imperfections. It carries wonderful provenance, having been personally dug up in the 1950s/1960s by a family member working as a Heavy Equipment Operator during excavations in California's Sacramento Valley, where it sat safely buried for decades.
