Made with Spanish Medir cane. We exclude overly soft cane during production (as it affects resonance and overall playability across the range).
The tone is rich in vibration, yet easily controllable from bright to dark sounds.
Easy to control dynamics (p), and balanced for low and high registers.
Shaped with a new machine, resulting in a slightly thicker heel, but a beautiful slope from the embracing part to the tip, providing good response and a stable, well-balanced finish. For harder strengths, hand-finishing is applied to the heel for balance.

Medir cane is shaped using Reason Staff's straight shaper R1 with profiled, barrel-shaped cane processed by Medir.
The thread on the reed is currently light pink.
