UL Mountain Clicker (Sky Blue)
【MOUNTAIN CLICKER】
This bear deterrent item makes a click-click sound when you press the button, alerting wild animals such as bears and boars to your presence.
While tools that continuously emit sound, like bear bells or radios, are effective, they also make it difficult to hear surrounding sounds. It is said that being able to perceive surrounding sounds and signs is just as important as making noise.
The Mountain Clicker allows you to make a click-click sound by pressing the button as needed, letting those around you know of your presence.
Material: Plastic (ABS resin)
Main unit size: Approx. 65mm (H) x 30mm (W)
Weight: Approx. 10g
When walking in the mountains, there are moments when you suddenly feel something and stop. At such times, ring the Mountain Clicker a few times to let any nearby wild animals know you are there.
Using the included cord, you can hang the Mountain Clicker on your backpack or belt, within easy reach.
Regular bear bells weigh around 60-100g, so this is also recommended for those seeking to further lighten their load.
⬛︎Caution:
When holding and using directly in your hand, please pass your finger through the loop of the included cord and grip the Mountain Clicker firmly to prevent dropping.
Please refrain from using near other hikers or buildings such as private homes, as it can be very disruptive.
Items other than the Mountain Clicker shown in the product images are not included.
