Finished Bassoon Reeds [Set of 3]
Finished Bassoon Reeds [Set of 3]
I use a Rieger 1a shaper.
Depending on the cane, some reeds are slightly scraped on the sides to create a more tulip-like shape.
As I often work with orchestras, I create reeds that are less prone to sharp intonation and have a calm tone.
The hardness is generally on the softer to medium side.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any preferences regarding blowing resistance (light, medium, heavy) or tone color.
The cane I primarily use is from Rigotti, D'Addario, Rigotti, Donati, Bonazza, and Chankaya.
Please note that shipping may be delayed due to travel for work. Thank you for your understanding.
