Rieger KOR (Tip Width: 15.60mm)
Developed by Norwegian bassoonist Kristian Oma Ronnes, this shaper has a tip width of 15.60mm, slightly narrower than the Thunemann.
The blade sides are nearly straight, with a slight convex shape near the tip, differing slightly from the Thunemann's overall concave curve.
This combination appears to provide the stable high-register response and dark, rounded tone required by principal players.
