Awa Shoai Indigo Dyeing (Intangible Cultural Property) Shijira Weave Fabric

This item is from a decluttering of my parents' home.

It has been stored for a long time.

The item is sealed with thread, so I haven't been able to inspect the entire piece. I took photos while shifting the vinyl covering.

This is a product of Nagao Orimono Gomei Kaisha, a cotton fabric manufacturer established in 1897.

I believe this color can be worn by a wide range of ages. Please use it not only for kimonos but also as material for various handmade projects.
