Beautiful Condition Bassoon [Veriba Wind Instrument Specialty Store]
Harada Musical Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. FG-10
Purchased before the price increase in September 2021 for ¥363,000.
For reference, the current model is ¥495,000.
This is a bassoon that can be played at A=442Hz.
(This is not something that can be stated for many low-priced instruments, so I am noting it here.)
It is equipped with a full range of keys and has a balancer hole.
The joint connection is made with a string winding mechanism.
This is a rare, low-priced bassoon that can be played at A=442Hz.
(The shop owner's first instrument was a German brand called Sonora, which cost around ¥850,000, but this one is much easier to play!)
It has many key features, including rollers for the right thumb and left pinky, and a balancer is included, making it an easy-to-play bassoon.
The tone is soft, but it has a certain volume comparable to older German-made instruments.
This is the same model that our shop manager currently uses in the orchestra.
Also, regarding the specialized fingering for bassoon,
this bassoon allows for the Eb fingering using the left middle finger.
The joint is string-wound, making it easy to adjust the tightness.
The included semi-hard case is a backpack type.
Two bocals are included.
The playing feel is stable at 442Hz, and I believe it is easy to play with good sound projection and no stuffiness.
We recommend this to those who are not particular about the brand name.
Accessories:
Semi-hard case, swab, cloth, strap, etc.
I am listing this because I am retiring.
It will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap.
