Product Description

The Pocket Sax, Xaphoon, allows you to freely play a 2-octave range with rich expression using a tenor saxophone reed.
This is a completely new instrument, the Pocket Sax Xaphoon, which is neither a saxhorn nor a clarinet, nor even a recorder.
Born on the island of Maui, Hawaii, this instrument was created so that anyone, even those with no musical experience, could play it.

By using a tenor saxophone reed, you can play an astonishingly wide 2-octave range with rich expression.

Advanced players can express mournful cries and whispers like a saxhorn through the reed's vibrations.

Beginners can enjoy the Xaphoon as is, and it's also a great way to start your journey into playing a serious reed instrument.
