Late Victorian Edwardian period ART Nouveau Sterling Silver Repousse Mini Picture Frame. Boudoir sized or small table top. This high design with decorative floral, tendrils and period scrolling in a fabulous Repousse technique crafted from Sterling Silver. Measures 5.5h. X 3.5 w., it can fit a 2.5x3.5 picture or slightly larger. England origin, Birmingham Silver. Hallmark lower front. It has the English Lion passant for Sterling Silver, and date mark. This lovely little mini dates to 1906! A true art nouveau period piece. In very good condition. There is an old small dent in the front raised oval, but it has aged well over time. Velvet backed, with a bare solid wood easel stand. Kept well, sure to be a new keepsake for the true sterling silver frame and Belle Epoch art period minded. Pretty little antique frame.
