N/A Colorful Vtg 80s USA Full Unused Sheet of 40 Framed Stamps Hot Air Ballooning

This framed collection features a full sheet of 40 1983 Hot Air Ballooning US postage stamps. Issued on March 31, 1983, this set commemorates the 200th anniversary of manned balloon flight and consists of four distinct se-tenant designs (stamps printed together on the same sheet). That is the official info although the sheet indicates 1982. The Four Designs The stamps represent different eras of ballooning history: •Intrepid (1861): Depicts the Union Army surveillance balloon used during the American Civil War. •Explorer II (1935): Commemorates the record-breaking scientific research balloon that reached an altitude of 72,395 feet. •Modern Balloons: Two different designs featuring vibrant, multi-colored modern sport balloons against a blue sky. The glass is in good condition with one small scratch and the frame could use some touching up but there is no significant damage. 🩷I am a caregiver and sell items online for a small income.
