YAMAHA YAS-62 FirstG1 G1 Saxophone Body + G1 Neck Set
YAMAHA YAS-62 First G1
- Brand: Yamaha
The First YAS-62 is Yamaha's top-of-the-line model from the G1 era.
It is also famous for being used by world-renowned saxophonist Dave Koz.
This is the G1 model that many professionals aspire to, with differences in neck length and sound.
The YAS-62 First G1 has a jazz sound.
The First G1 is the most popular YAS-62 model and is always in short supply on the market.
It is rare to find an instrument in such beautiful condition.
Maroon G
Features such as the J key guard and other parts of the body can identify it as a G1.
Not only the G1 neck, but also the body is the original G1.
It is already a valuable and scarce item.
The serial number is an excellent one.
It is difficult to obtain such a good serial number.
- Model: Yamaha YAS-62
- Accessories: Yamaha 4C mouthpiece (has scratches from use, so it was used with special tape applied. The remaining tape is also included.)
Ligature, strap, mouthpiece (select jazz 3M), mouthpiece case, tuner metronome, 2 size swabs
- Color: Gold
- Condition: Good
- Case: Hard case
The original Yamaha case has cracks in the wood at the edges.
There is no problem with its use.
Body condition:
Exterior
It has been handled carefully and has never been subjected to impact or drops.
This is the First model of the YAS-62, and its condition is beautiful.
There is some lacquer peeling and minor scratches due to age and normal use.
Lacquer peeling is mainly on the pinky keys.
There are no noticeable large peeling areas on the body or bell.
It was serviced at Wind Bros. in Shibuya six months ago.
As a bonus:
Maintenance supplies
Lacquer polish
Brass soap
Key oil
Cork grease
Slide grease
Cleaning paper
All have remaining contents.
This is a complete set that allows beginners to start playing right away.
I have used it with great care, but due to circumstances, I can no longer play the saxophone and am reluctantly parting with it.
I hope it finds a good home with someone who will cherish it.
