This is a floating anchor designed to prevent kayaks and canoes from drifting away in the wind. It is useful not only for enjoying kayak fishing but also as a safety device to reduce drifting speed. A super-elastic alloy wire is inserted into the opening, so it opens immediately when removed from the stuff sack and stays open even in water. It weighs only 152g, making it very lightweight, and features a fluorescent color for easy visibility in emergencies.
