Boat Supplies: Sea Anchor II with Buoy and Retrieval Rope
This is a PLASTIMO Sea Anchor II.
It is a size M, suitable for boats up to 25ft.
I used it with an inflatable boat with an outboard motor.
It doesn't keep you in one place like an anchor, but it slows down your drift with tides and wind.
I am including a buoy to signal to other boats that you are using a sea anchor, attached to the rear of the sea anchor, along with a homemade retrieval rope.
I have used it in the sea about 5 times. It is in clean condition with no rust or dirt, as it is made with stainless steel and rust-resistant hardware, and I thoroughly washed it after returning to port.
As explained in the photos, usage is as simple as connecting the same colored vinyl tapes together. The white rope without tape is connected to the boat and thrown towards the bow. The stainless steel wire sewn into the opening will form a loop, making it easy to deploy.
The buoy is inflated for the photo, but I will deflate it for shipping. The inflation valve will also be included, so you can connect it to an air pump to inflate it.
For more details, please search PLASTIMO Sea Anchor II online.
I plan to list more items that can be equipped on inflatable boats in the future. To find them, please enter ボート用品 (boat supplies) at the beginning of the Mercari search bar.
I have explained everything clearly with photos, but if you would like to know more, please feel free to ask in the comments.
Thank you for looking.
