【Historic Conn 34A Cornet / Popular US Student Model / Many Accessories Included】
The Conn (Corn) 34A Cornet is a short-model B♭ instrument featuring a 120mm yellow brass bell and a rose brass leadpipe, known for its warm and deep tone.
It has a bore size of 11.73mm (.462 inches), a lacquer finish, and is handled by Nonaka Boeki as an ambitious work inheriting the tradition of American brass.
*New items are currently sold for approximately ¥160,000 (tax included).
A historic Conn cornet, the starting point of American brass.
This 34A features a rose brass leadpipe, offering traditional ease of playability at a reasonable price, along with excellent tonal cohesion and a rich sound. From the Nonaka Boeki website.
I've cherished this instrument for many years, but I'm decluttering due to my age!
This cornet is popular as a student model in America, is very easy to play, and produces a beautiful, lustrous sound. Please cherish it!
I previously played a YAMAHA cornet 4330G of a similar rank and found this one to be much easier to play with a more lustrous tone.
It's a truly captivating cornet.
Regarding the instrument's condition, I enjoy maintaining my instruments, so the pistons and valves are in excellent condition!
No noticeable scratches or dents.
The exterior, considering it has been used for over 10 years, still has plenty of lacquer with a beautiful sheen and is very clean.
However, there are some minor, faint areas of lacquer peeling (barely noticeable unless you look closely, see photo 13).
⭐︎Accessories⭐︎
◉ Original dedicated case
◉ Soft case for practice and transport (recently replaced last year, used only a few times, so it's very clean)
◉ 2 Mouthpieces (Conn 7C, and another vintage one with no maker's mark, likely King based on its shape.
Purchased on Yahoo Auctions previously, it plays very well.)
◉ YAMAHA Valve Oil and Slide Cream
Both have about 70% remaining.
