Inden, with patterns applied to deerskin using lacquer, is a deerskin craft with a tradition of over 400 years, which was used to decorate the armor of warlords during the Warring States period.
The Gassai-bukuro (all-purpose bag) derives its name from the words issai gassai (everything), meaning it can hold all your belongings. You can put a string through your wrist or tie it to shorten the handle.
