N/A Vintage 1960 11” tall Hand painted mahogany & black Lacquer Wood Vase -Viet Nam

11” tall - 4” across top - 4.5” across the base Stamped CONG DANH and SAIGON - VIETNAM on the base. Very good condition for its age. There are a few places that show wear and scratches in the lacquer. I have highlighted the 3 worst of them in the last 3 pics. Note the edge of the top of vase. A little wood is chipped out. This is the back side of vase. Gold paint is metallic and makes the fish pop off the burgundy vase background when in the light. Notice the white sparkles in the dark sea grass. It looks like glitter in the light but is not raised. Base is very shiny black. I purchased this vase in 2014 from an antique store and it has been stored away since then. Nice piece. F 🪃 9:1
