Victorian Color Paper Scrap Girl With St. Bernard Dog
Item: This image is a Victorian die-cut chromolithograph paper scrap featuring a young child in a blue dress and white lace trim standing next to a large St. Bernard dog. These items were created using chromolithography, a color printing process, to be cut out and used in scrapbooks, for decoupage, or as decorations. The vibrant colors and fine detail made them highly collectible during the Victorian era as an accessible form of color art. This paper scrap has been out and is laying on blue posterboard for the photo. It measures approximately 11 X 15. It does have several creases (please the photos). Notes: My home is smoke free but I do have pets. Items are stored in sealed bins away from the pets. Please see the photos for measurements.
