LD★TV Movie "The Secret of Tsubuyaki Rock"★NHK Boys' Drama Series★Laserdisc

Downsizing due to age. This is a LaserDisc (LD) of Tsubuyaki Iwa no Himitsu (The Secret of Whispering Rock), one of the NHK Boys' Drama Series, released for those who own an LD player.
This is a LaserDisc. It is not a DVD or videotape.

The NHK Boys' Drama Series began in 1972 with the masterpiece Time Traveler. While most of the footage from that era is no longer available, Tsubuyaki Iwa no Himitsu is rare because it was filmed entirely on location, and all episodes (6 in total) were preserved by NHK.
Based on the novel by Jiro Nitta, it features a thrilling plot, beautiful yet mysterious ocean visuals, and the secret hidden within Whispering Rock!

For this Mercari listing, I rewatched Tsubuyaki Iwa no Himitsu on LD and enjoyed it again after a long time. The suspense builds with each episode, showcasing excellent storytelling.
Juvenile films are easy to understand and truly enjoyable. It vividly came back to me along with the theme song Too-i Umi no Kioku (Distant Sea Memories) sung by Seri Ishikawa.

Please enjoy this nostalgic suspense drama, Tsubuyaki Iwa no Himitsu, on LaserDisc, a must-see for eternal TV boys and girls.
