The obi-dome features a 1901 American coin. It's an Indian Head cent, featuring the Statue of Liberty. This piece was brought to Japan from America during the Meiji to Taisho eras and repurposed as an obi-dome.

The obi-jime is a beautiful moss green with embroidered fern-like leaves.

It's very tasteful and stylish.
The coin is approximately 1.5cm in diameter. The obi-jime is about 8mm wide.
