Authentic vintage Pioneer Wear Western suede vest, made in Albuquerque, New Mexico during the brand's earlier Southwestern / Santa Fe Style era. This piece likely dates to the late 1960s–1970s, based on the Pioneer Wear Anywhere Anytime Albuquerque USA label and the Genuine Leather / Melody Leather Cleaners Oklahoma City care label. Pioneer Wear was known for quality American-made suede and leather Westernwear. Constructed from genuine split cowhide roughout suede in a rich tobacco/cognac brown. Features pointed Western yokes on the front and back, snap front closure with stamped metal concho-style buttons, V-shaped front waist pockets, rivet-reinforced pocket corners, and an original metal Pioneer Wear pocket tag. Fully lined in a smooth satin/taffeta weave for easy layering. Great for Western wear, cowboy style, rodeo, ranchwear, Southwestern heritage, Americana, or vintage styling. Tagged size 42L.
