Specifications
The recorder, which first appeared in European manuscripts in the 12th century, has been loved by many since the Renaissance and Baroque periods for its expressive tone that blends with the breath. Its structure is very simple, but it is said to be extremely difficult to create a recorder with a beautiful tone and accurate pitch that resonates well. Yamaha's recorder production began by actually playing and comparing historical masterpieces. Then, they researched the changes in tone quality and structure due to the hardness and specific gravity of the materials, and repeatedly prototyped and tested based on that data. This is how the Yamaha wooden recorder was born. Underlying its creation were Yamaha's unique wood drying and processing technologies, cultivated over many years, and valuable advice from musicians and experts active worldwide. Yamaha wooden recorders are highly regarded for their high quality in all aspects, including tone, volume, playing comfort, texture, and durability, and are enjoyed by many people.
