Akoya Pearl Millgrain Obi止め (Sash Clasp) - STERLING Silver - Vintage
This obi clasp features beautiful Akoya pearls and intricate engraving such as milgrain.
On the back, there are stamps for STERLING and what I believe to be the manufacturer's mark: a shell mark with a K? inside.
I initially thought it might be Mikimoto, but Mikimoto's shell mark has an 'M', so I believe this is from a different company.
Compared to Mikimoto's Akoya pearls, the luster and shine are comparable, with no noticeable scratches or stains, making it in good condition for its age.
It's a versatile obi clasp with a stylish design that can be easily paired with various kimonos, making it a valuable accessory.
