Canon 50mm lens included

This is a Canon film camera.
The lens is a Canon LENS 50mm F1.8.

My father used it, but he stopped using it when digital cameras became popular. I only know that the shutter makes a sound when it operates, and I am an amateur, so I don't know about the condition of the lens or anything else.
How about it as an antique or retro item for display or as part of a vintage collection?
Thank you for your consideration.
