《Changes from New Peraclean》
● Improved Adhesion
Adhesion to the propeller is strengthened by adding an adhesion promoter to the primer.
● Reduced Surface Preparation
Due to improved primer adhesion, the surface preparation work of polishing the propeller is reduced.
● New Peraclean PLUS is an antifouling paint set for propellers that is gentle on people and the environment, and does not contain chromium compounds.
● The epoxy resin-based primer forms a strong coating film with excellent adhesion to high-speed rotating propeller surfaces, and the newly formulated silicone resin-based antifouling paint, which exhibits excellent antifouling performance even during mooring periods, prevents marine organisms from attaching to propellers and shafts.
● Note: An electric disc sander is required for application.
Paper discs #80-240, nylon discs, etc. can be used, expanding the application range.
Instructions
1. Remove marine organisms and oil from the propeller.
2. Remove old paint and polish the propeller surface using an electric disc sander.
3. Wipe with thinner. (Sea-Jet Thinner A, Sea-Jet Thinner D, etc.)
4. Apply New Peraclean PLUS Primer twice. (Complete the second coat within 90 minutes)
5. After the primer has dried, apply New Peraclean PLUS Finish. (Recommended: apply twice or apply thickly)
6. After sufficient drying, launch the boat. (8 hours or more at 20℃)
