Staffordshire Vintage England hand painted ceramic figurine “fruit seller” pink white

A vintage ceramic piece, marked hand painted “fruit seller” Staffordshire Fine Ceramics Covent Garden Collection, England. The top comes off, interior is hollow, and there is a little opening near the fruit basket. I think it was originally meant to be a tea pot but I am not sure. One flaw: there is a fine crack on the bottom base, it doesn’t extend into the body of the piece, so it is not visible. I don’t think it will hold any liquid because of the crack, see photos! Price reflects flaw. About 8” tall 1lb 13oz
