Forest Decorative Fan

Miyako uchiwa have been used in the Imperial Palace and by the Imperial Court.

Created in Kyoto, they are nurtured by their unique beauty and history, and continue to be innovated today, creating a delicate and elegant beauty that cannot be found elsewhere.

A key feature of Miyako uchiwa is their sashi-e (inserted handle) structure, where the fan surface and handle are made separately, and thin ribs are arranged radially one by one before the pattern is applied.

■ How to Display
When not in use, insert it into the included display stand and keep it upright. It can also be displayed as interior decoration.
