Shaft (Handle): Made of bamboo. The reinforced water-repellent and vinyl coating on the *bangasa* (Japanese umbrella) ensures that water beads off for a long time and prevents the paper layers from sticking together during storage. This makes it suitable not only for stage use but also for practical everyday use. Handmade by one of the few remaining Japanese umbrella artisans in Japan.
[Quality] Fabric: Paper, Bamboo *Oiled. Umbrella Cloth: Made of Japanese paper. Can be used in rainy weather. Country of Origin: Japan.
