Overall, this is a beautiful umbrella. However, there is some paint peeling on the black part at the top, but you could touch it up and use it. Length from the handle when closed is approximately 90 cm. Length from the top to the red part when closed is approximately 47.5 cm. The material feels like fabric. We appreciate your understanding that this is a used item. It will be shipped in a storage bag that we made.
