American Vintage Vintage 1996 Signed‎ Terracotta Folk Art Wall Plaque Studio Pottery Landscape

Janice made this in 1996 and signed her name to it. This hand-formed studio pottery wall plaque features a layered dimensional landscape scene — rustic house nestled between autumn trees, cut-out windows, and a golden sun arching overhead. The negative space between the trees and sky gives it an almost sculptural quality. Reddish terracotta clay with earth tone, green, and yellow glaze accents throughout. Signed and dated 96 on reverse. Wall hanging. No chips or cracks. Every piece has a past. Find yours. — Sarah / The Storied House Co.
