Japanese Umbrella, Bangasa

I believe a family member bought this as a souvenir sometime in the late Showa era, but no one remembers the details.
It was displayed on a glass shelf in the living room while closed.
I wiped it with a dry cloth after opening it for this listing.
There are no tears or scratches, and it opens and closes smoothly.
The handle part is a Kokeshi doll.
