Game Boy Advance SP IPS LCD Custom Kit + Replacement Shell
This is an IPS LCD kit (LCD, circuit board, cable), a replacement shell, and a Y-type screwdriver for the Game Boy Advance SP.
We will ship it via Takkyubin Compact, which is safe and comes in a box.
〇 Overview
- You can convert your existing Game Boy Advance unit to an IPS LCD by removing the circuit board, speaker, hinge, and battery and installing this kit.
- The GBASP is slightly more difficult to disassemble and reassemble compared to other GB models, so those with experience building plastic models will find it a rewarding modification.
- Modification can be done without soldering. Soldering is required if you want to adjust brightness with buttons instead of the touch sensor.
- Some processing of the shell is required. You will need to cut out the part where the LCD is fitted using nippers or a cutter. Please refer to the photos for details on the processing.
- The Game Boy Advance unit is not included.

- The power consumption increases when an IPS LCD is installed. If the battery runs low, the screen will not display, so please charge it at that time.
