Albrecht Furs Large Brown 4 pelt Albrecht Furs St. Paul, Minnesota Sable Stole

We can't verify for sure - we're not experts in vintage furs, but this animal looks dramatically different from the mink stoles we've sold and handled - it's much larger and has a cooler, dusty color to its fur - as opposed to the bright warm tones of mink usually used in these taxidermy stoles. Our best educated guess is that this is a Sable Stole as it matches size, color, and construction of other high end Sable stoles. It's larger, fuller, more luxurious feeling, and has a Furier's tag and more elegant clousre findings as well as the dusty-more cool tone of the fur. Condition: “There are two feet that have issues - one is either missing or never was there - but it's sewn so perhaps this was the original state. The other is on one of the end pelts and has pulled a little away - see photos. Otherwise this is a beautiful, elegant piece. A tiny repair on the one foot that has pulled away will make this perfect but we've reduced the price for your trouble - we don't repair vintage items - preferring to leave that to the experts Sold as is with disclosed issues and reduction in price.
