【Not for Sale, Unused】Large Furoshiki by Edo-Tokyo Museum & Isetatsu

US Size:

Thank you for looking.

This is a large furoshiki (wrapping cloth) from Isetatsu, which was exclusively given to individuals involved at the time of the completion of the Edo-Tokyo Museum in front of Ryogoku Station.

Isetatsu is a long-established shop founded in 1864. They are a publisher of Edo Chiyogami (traditional Japanese paper) and toy prints. They produce vibrant, hand-printed Edo Chiyogami that reflects Edo culture, as well as Edo Inuhariko made with traditional methods.
Therefore, the designs are characterized by being more stylish and colorful than Chiyogami patterns, while also evoking a sense of classical Edo atmosphere.

This is a large furoshiki that was given to those involved in the construction and opening of the Tokyo Metropolitan Edo-Tokyo Museum, which opened in 1993 with the basic policy of Style and Vibrancy.

Pattern: Stripes, bordered in red, now a representative pattern of Isetatsu
Size: Approximately 87 x 87 cm, square
(The Isetatsu and Edo-Tokyo Museum logos are in the corners facing each other.)

Immediate purchase is welcome. Thank you.
