This pattern is close to a composition called Karamishi (entwined lions),
where multiple lions are depicted dynamically,
and has been popular in Japanese art and crafts since ancient times.
Karajishi (Chinese lions) are considered auspicious patterns that ward off evil and misfortune,
and symbolize vitality and prosperity,
and are often used for men's haura (lining fabric).
Karajishi Haura (羽裏) are
luxurious linings for haori (kimono jacket)
primarily used for men's haori,
depicting karajishi, which symbolize warding off evil and the king of beasts.
Many have luxurious patterns and are known as hidden stylishness
that can be seen when the haori is removed,
especially as a chic fashion favored by Edoites.
Features and Appeal
Design: The classic design is Karajishi Botan (Chinese lions and peonies),
which is a combination of Chinese lions and peonies (king of a hundred flowers),
and features very powerful and gorgeous patterns.
Usage: Preferred for men's black formal kimonos, etc.,
where the surface is plain and chic,
and individuality is expressed on the lining.
Gakuura (額裏): A luxurious item that is a single piece of fabric (ebamoyō)
without a seam in the center back, sized specifically for haori.
Karajishi patterns on haura are an attention to detail in unseen areas.

and has been stored for a long time (^ - ^).

there are fold creases and stains.

Please forgive any other oversights.
The fabric details are unknown,
but this is for those who don't mind (^ - ^).
I am not knowledgeable about kimonos,
so I cannot answer questions, etc.
