For those who want to display only the imperial dolls this year due to a busy schedule, how about this as a substitute for the felt mat?

A vibrant red furoshiki (wrapping cloth) made of 100% polyester (84cm x 85cm), which was folded and stored at the bottom of the Hina doll display box.

For those whose daughters have grown up and find it difficult to set up the large tiered Hina doll display every year due to busy schedules... this year, why not display only the Emperor and Empress dolls? If the felt mat is too large, consider using this red furoshiki as a tablecloth on a small table to display just the Emperor and Empress dolls.

The photos show an example of how it looks when displayed, and it was quite festive and enjoyable for the season.
