Solid wood (not veneer), dovetail joinery, footed base, mirrored lid, and red felt lining. Provenance from a 1976 letter (copy included) notes it as “one of the first made” and “solid wood.” Perfect for use as a candy, jewelry, or keepsake box, or as a unique vintage décor accent. This deluxe early-production version is more ornate than later models and highly collectible.
