This set includes the tall ceramic crock/jar and the heavy metal internal plunger mechanism. CONDITION: Authentic antique condition with beautiful character. The ceramic jar has heavy overall crazing and a prominent hairline crack extending down from the upper rim. There are minor cosmetic dark marks and manufacturing spots on the glaze. The bottom rim shows authentic shelf wear and coloration. The metal plunger has a dark, rusted patina on the handle disk and internal perforated base, with clear embossed lettering on the top disk.
