Vibrant woven tapestry featuring animals and figures. Rich red, black, and cream colors. Antique Iranian Tribal Pictorial Rug (Gabbeh-Type), c. 1900 Handwoven wool rug from southwestern Iran featuring stylized animal and human motifs on a madder red field. Naïve tribal imagery characteristic of early Gabbeh weavings. Later kilim backing. Strong natural dyes and good. Later added zipper for pillow or cushion. See photos for measurements. I strongly suggest not washing it.
